Commercial Description:
Full-bodied and roasty with a creamy mouthfeel. This oatmeal stout utilizes 75 pounds of rolled oats and four different types of barley. Don't let the black color fool you, it is smooth and tasty

Had on tap at Extreme Pizza off of Exposition blvd. Sacramento. Tap said " Beermann’s Oatmeal Stout" ~Pours black with creamy off white head. ~Malty coffee and chocolate aroma. ~Chocolate and coffee flavor. ~Palate was a bit dry. Bitter aftertaste. ~Decent stout. Nice chocolate coffee flavoring.

This dark brown ale poured with a thin tan head. The flavor is of chocolate and coffee with a very malty finish.

Lots of roasted coffee flavor in this one. A bit lighter than I was expecting for a stout. Smooth after taste.

An average stout, albeit a smooth one. Beermann's is a solid brewer, but I'd stick with the red or, if you can get it, the almighty bourbon barleywine.

Distinct coffee aroma. Stark black. Little head. Little too watery and too flat, but good choco-flavoring.
