Commercial Description:
Lincoln Lager is our interpretatioin of a traditional German Helles-style lager. A light, golden lager made with the finest pale and munich malts available. An authentic lager yeast, long cold fermentation and an extra 4 weeks of cold conditioning produce a clean, crisp, and refreshing taste.

Pours a medium golden color. Aroma is slighty sweet, also a little grainy with some malt present. Beer is somewhat malty with a fairly bitter grainy finish. Smooth and easy drinink, but not really exciting.

Pale straw appearance, moderate head formation. Grainy malt and grassy aroma. Fairly light palate, grainy, sharper bitterness than expected. Decent lager.

Bottle. Golden color with a white head quickly diminished. A slight perfume and floral aroma with a clean, crisp and refreshing flavor.

The beer after its departure from the 12-ounce brown bottle appears a somewhat muzzy gold with a prodigious creamy white head, as it slowly fades away the lace from a tight sealing sheet upon the glass. Archetypal lager malt nose that is crisp and clean, start is lightly sweet with a nice malt presence, the top fair to middling in its feel to the palate. Finish is spiteful in its acidity, the hops apropos to the style, dry aftertaste, a drinkable beer at any rate.

Medium gold color. Medium head. Aroma is lightly malty and slightly hoppy. A medium bodied, very mellow lager. It fairly malty and hoppy for a lager, and there is some fruitiness as well. It most definitely a lager, but it has none of the bad qualities of a lager. Very smooth taste. Light and refreshing. Would be an excellent hot summer day beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
