Commercial Description:
Produced in March to be stored (lagered) in caves during the summer and brought out in late September. The Oktoberfest celebrated the release of these beers. This lager is malty in flavor and orange/copper in color from the liberal addition of German Munich malts and Crystal malts.

This copper ale poured with a thin off-white head. There is a nice blend of malts and a serious level of hops. The flavor is fairly well-balanced, but an astringent finish diminishes the overall flavor.

Orange/red. Sweet caramel grain aroma. Hoppier than any O-fest I’ve had, but still having the classic Munich caramel. Good choice for hopheads to give lagers a chance! Excellent.
