| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Feb 13, 2009 Aroma of a whitbeer. Darker in body though, strange orange-brown unclear color. Smoky flavour, and dry and bitter finish. I’m glad I tasted it, but its no favourite. Served in a funny glass mad a bit angry barman :-) Ok, my belgian is not very good.

Forboding, yet inviting toffee-coloured turbid appearance. Light creamy head. Toffee in the aroma too - promises some alcohol perhaps? Dry and nutty taste. Sticky, coats the mouth. Quite like a brown ale in part, but a bit too fizzy. Not a coherent beer experience; the smell and taste didn’t match each other, for example.
