(Draught at De Bekeerde Suster, Amsterdam, 2 Aug 2009) Golden colour with firm, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of citrus, tropical fruit and a touch of yeast. Malty, fruity taste with pineapple, citrus and a spicy finish. More than medium body with solid malt character and balanced sweetness. Leaning in the Leffe direction, but tastier and in better balance. Nice one.

Tap @ Beiaard Enschede. Blonde, cloudy. Citrus aroma, hampered somewhat by the cold service etmperature. Citrus flavor, malty with some flowery hops and alcohol. Sweetish, traubenzucker. Not unpleasant.

tap at the brewpub in Amsterdam - Pours hazy yellow and smells of yeast with citrus and a touch of spice. It has a sweet malt flavor with citrus and banana notes and some mild to moderate hops leading into a dry finish. The medium body has a lively palate and I noted that it just seems like a clean, fresh brew.

On tap @ the brewpub. Cloudy orange/yellow body with a fine, dense white head. Aroma is fruity like mango and oranges with spices and hops. Very refreshing, sweet and bitter with a lot of fruit and some spices. What a thirst-quencher.

Tap. Very unclear yellow brown body. White frothy head. Crisp sourish aroma. Some yeast. Sourish and heavy sweet flavour. Alcohol in the finish. One gets a warming sensation after swallowing, despite of the cold serving temperature. (De Beiaard, Amstrdam, 08.12.08)

From tap at the brewpub. Pours slight cloudy orange with a diminished off-white head. Light sweet caramel and mild yeasty aroma. Flavour is classic triple flavoured with a light weight on the sweetness. Mild yeasty and caramel malty into the finish. Stays rather dry in the finish though. Nice and clean triple.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy golden colour. Small white head. Good malty flavour, soft bread, nice spice notes. Creamy mouthfeel. Good balance.

Draught, De Beiaard, nr Heineken brewery, Amsterdam. Hazy golden colour with a creamyish white head. Sweet, yeasty, caramel malt aroma. Flavour pretty similar. OK, but decidedly underwhelming.
