(Draught at De Bekeerde Suster, Amsterdam, 2 Aug 2009) Cloudy yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of citrus peel, lemon and spices (coriander). Fruity, wheaty taste with citrus, pineapple and a hint of spices. Short finish. Thin body, not overly sweet. Decent but slightly boring.

tap at the brewpub in Amsterdam - Pours hazy yellow with a thick, full white head. The aroma is banana accented yeast. It tastes sweet and yeasty with banana and citrus notes and has some mild hops in the finish.

On tap @ the brewpub. Hazy orange body with a dense white head. Aroma is fruity, spicy and a bit floral. Flavor is refreshing, fruity, yeast, banana, orange juice, spices and quite sweet. Refreshing and not very complex wit.

From tap at Beiaard. Pours hazy yellow with a huge white head. Coriander, yeasty and wheat aroma. Slight rubber flavoured. Solid estery and phenolic notes joined with a touch of oranges and banana, yet with a small coriander spice touc. Not my thing.

Tap at the brewery. Blond color, hazy appearance, small but nice and creamy head. Aroma of top fermentation, phenolic, sour perfume, vanilla and citruses. Smooth mouthfeel, creamy texture with a moderated flavor of a witbier like citruses, sour tastes and nice sweetness. Easy drinkable wit.

On tap @ Beiaard, Amsterdam. My girlfriend’s favourite. Hazy yellow colour, white head. Aroma of wheat yeast and citrus, flavour is wheat, citrus, some spice and yeast. A bit sweet, but very refreshing.

Draught @ De Bekeerde Suster, Amsterdam. Drinkable if not especially flavoursome with mild spice and tangy citrus.

Cloudy yellow, brief billowing head. Crisp refreshing wheat aroma - coriander, citrus, and banana. Classic hefe-weizen - full bodied and refreshing - banana, citrus, and coriander, with a lovely heavy sticky burnt caramel.
