From tap at Taverne Manneken Pis. Pours pale yellow with a small white head, leaving a nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is crisp grassy. Light citrusy and crisp hoppy flavoured, thin to no malt presence. Thirstquencer. Dry and crisp hoppy finish.

Tap, 25 cl. A golden beer with a medium, lacing, white head. The aroma is very specific grainy and hoppy. The taste is grainy, light malty, with a light sharp hoppy, bitter aftertaste. Very nice pils to drink, probably one of the best!

Bottle. Golden with a white foam and heavy carbonation. Aromas are grain with hints of caramel. Some citrus. Flavours are sweet grain and light lemon with grassy notes. Dry with decent bitterness on the finish. Better than I thought it would be.

I tried this near Sluis on the Belgian / Netherlands border. It served it’s purpose well. It was hot, I wanted something lighter. I probably won’t be trying it again though.

Bottle. Pale golden beer with a strongish head. The aroma is plainly yeasty, and the flavour is yeasty and dry. Overall a very average beer.
