I wasnt expecting much from this brew, but I was pleasantly surprised. Great aromas of oats and choc. Nice rich dark brown color. Good flavors of choc, coffee and roasted oats. Good oatmeal go try it.

Very dark nearly opaque black beer with a very nice head that has decent retention, but has larger than average bubbles... Somewhat roasty, then bready aroma, with definite cereal notes not much of coffee or chocolate or fruit esters to note... Relatively generic taste with a metallic note that strikes me as off, but a decent amount of roast and cereals to make it drinkable... Medium bodied, though i may argue a little watery, decent lingering mouthfeel with a roastiness... Average Oatmeal Stout...

Poured from bottle at Stout NYC. Couldn’t smell a thing (it was getting late). Just a bit of a head. Flavors - unsweetened dark chocolate, wood, smoke, oats. Had porter-like feel at first, got creamier as it warmed. Hops and veggie flavor noticed toward end. Nice stout.

Pitch black with a voluminous light brown head. Burnt coffee and ash on the nose, with a vaguely metallic presence as well. I also get a faint whiff of lactose as well, but that may just be the combination of aromas playing tricks on me. Burnt toast and coffee dominate at first, but a subtle sweetness balances the brew just before it gets to the point of acridity. Perhaps just a touch of malt astringency. Silky, medium body is marred by the sharp carbonation. A rare beer (for me at least) insomuch as the flavor is much better than the aroma. A solid stout, maybe just a few tweaks away from being outstanding. The more I drank, the more I liked it.

Bottle at Zeke’s while visiting Miami. Thick black pour with dark brown head. Chocolate, coffee, roasty, aroma. Sweet oaty flavor. Medium creamy silky body with a dry finish. Average brew, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Pours black with tan head. Burnt malt aroma with coffee and chocolate. Similar flavors. I’m not really getting any smoothness from the oats. I was expecting a creamier mouthfeel. Medium to full body with average carbonation. Not a bad beer, just another average stout.

12oz bottle from BOTW. Pours a deep black with a huge, dark tan head. Aroma is chocolaty and mildly roasty. Also something there that I can only describe as acidic. Flavor characteristics are similar, with a nice flavor profile despite the acidity and the sharp carbonation. The very tight an sharp carbonation give it a fake feel - forced. Despite its flaws I found myself enjoying this beer.

Tap @ Monster B’s. I don’t know whether I had a skunky draft or if this beer is totally crap, but I tasted a citrusy and acidic undertone with this beer - a characteristic that shouldn’t be in oatmeal stouts.
