12 oz. bottle courtesy Alraomon, who apparently got it somewhere in New Jersey. Thanks Sean! Very dark brown pour with medium head and poor retention. Aroma of oatmeal, graham crackers, soy and brown sugar. Much drier taste of smoke, almonds and coffee. Medium body.

Bottled, BB 9/08. Poured deep brown with an explosive and long-lasting cap of dark tan head. The aroma picked up sweeter chocolates with a lightly sour milky impression... didn’t seem too well balanced. The flavor had even more of the sourness than the nose paired with grainy sweeter chocolates and oats.. finished dry with cocoa, coffee, and lactic sourness. Medium-bodied and dry on the palate with lots and lots of carbonation.. didn’t come together so well.

12oz Bottle - Trade - Daknole
Aroma – Dark malts with hints coffee and slick oats.
Appearance – Black in color, thin head and clear.
Flavor – Nice malt flavor the dark malts give of a chocolate and coffee flavor. The oats added make this a very slick and drinkable beer.
Palate – Good Mouthfeel, Oat Stout like texture with a dry finish.
Overall – A very nice Oatmeal stout beer. This was one of the better beers for the day.

Pours Mocha with Very big, khaki/cream head. Body not as large as I would’ve expected from the pour, but still solid mouthfeel. flavor is coffee, slight bitter chocolate, oats with bitter finish

12 oz. bottle. Pours a dark color with a large dark tan head that takes a fairly long time to dissipate. Aroma primarily of coffee and oats with maybe a hint of dark chocolate. Tasted better than it smelled. Full bodied with a slightly bitter finish.

Dark black/purple pour with ultra thick head (I think this bottle got too cold before I opened it). Roasted chocolate aroma and dark burnt toast and oats flavors. Makes you think it’s oatmeal-y, but overall a medium mouthfeel.

Tampa, Fl. - Total Wine - 12 oz bottle. Dark plum fading to black pour with a decently thick khaki colored head. Earthy aroma with some topsoil and a bit of chocolate. Flavor has some bitter baker’s chocolate, dirt, and a dash of root beer. Good lacticity. Decent creaminess in the mouthfeel.

Aroma was of a lot of chocolate and some roastiniess. Very nice aroma. Flavor was not as impressive. A little bitterness to finish it off. Pretty solid though.
