Mild spiced and malty flavoured with a light oxidised like note. Mild yeasty touch too. Fruity and malty finish. Somewhat unrefined. MiP (8793), Sønderborg, Denmark Dec 9, 2008 Bottle, 7.2%. Yellow colour, big floaties. Stable white head. Sweet flavour, some hay and straw. Too sweet, actually with a little rough hoppiness. Hint of metal in the aftertaste. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 3, 2008 Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy golden with floating impurities and a dense, white head. Unclean aroma of yeast and sulphur. Medium body, notes of rotten fruit and some alcohol in the finish. Far from any pleasure here. 281108 Jerre (1755), Waregem, Belgium Dec 13, 2007 Bottle, 33 cl.
Hazy orange-amber color, with medium dark white fine head. Aroma malts, yeast, hops. Medium body. Taste sweet malts, little spice, yeast, good bitter.
A good regular blonde. JorisPPattyn (5155), Antwerpen, Belgium Nov 24, 2007 Very good, just yellowish head, fine & dense, over fully hazy orange-ochre beer. Malts, a touch of alcohol, a bit of maltbread & just a touch of caramel. Somehow, I get wasabi , if not sharp. Slightly bitterish, spicy, like horseradish (again) or mustard seedpowder, over mainly neutral to sweet malts. Very creamy, slick MF, alcohol obvious. Very neutral beer, just a little initial spicyness.
