Bottle from Utobeer Market Stall. Pours a cloudy straw colour with a frothy white head. Aromas of citrus, caramel, vanilla, a slight sourness. Flavours of malts, tangerines, barley sugars, grapefruit, vanilla. Quite fruity. Finishes bittersweet and malty. Refreshing.

Bottle. Poured a hazy, pale gold with a thick, lasting white head. Aroma had notes of grapefruit and bread. Flavor had notes of light dry fruits and grapefruit with a bit of pine towards the finish. A bit overly carbonated for my liking.

Bottle Hazy gold with a large off-white foam. Aromas are biscuit malts with pineapple and lemon. Hoppy with grapefruit and hints of pine. Flavours are dried apricot and pineapple with lots of grapefruit bitterness. Yeasty and dry with peppery hops on the finish. Good.

Bottle, shared by HenrikSoegaard at his place. It’s an almost clear, golden beer topped by a fluffy two-finger white head. Quite resiny hoppy on the nose with some pale malts left in the background. There’s some alcohol to be found in the flavor, but resiny hops over a layer of pale malts dominate. Spicy too, but the flavor is a bit one-dimensional and warming maybe. Effervescent, dry and medium to full body. It rounds off with a fine bitterness. A decent hop-driven Belgian, but lacking something. 090821

(Bottled) Clear yellow-golden with a large head (gushing a bit). Aroma of grassy hops, honeyish, pale-malty fruitiness and hints of pear. Pear-fruity, honey-pale-malty flavor with a touch of acidity and alcohol, and some grassy hops in the finish. Medium body, very foamy carbonation. Like Duvel with more hops and less alcohol, but not quite in balance. I didn’t think it was too sweet, but I could do with less foam.
