Bellhaven makes a line of the worlds best beers. Flavorful yet mild, great balance of grains and hops.

A clear moderate brown color with white head. Aroma had a bit of roast flavor. A very smooth medium-bodied malty taste made this one very easy to drink. Little to no caronbation make it even better. I really can’t complain about this beer at all.

For coming from overseas, and in a bottle, this is a really good Scottish ale. Quite hard to believe actually.

Good flavoursome beer! Soft sweet roasted malt on the nose and also on the palate. Not the classic pale ale I remember, but still good stuff. Asda. I agree the cask version is better, but where can you find it these days?

Bottle from Asda. Dark brown with off white head. Aroma contains roasty malt, little bit of smoke, dried fruits and spice. Thin bodied as you would expect from a 3% beer. Soft malty finish. Not as good as the cask version, but a classy beer for the gravity.

Well, this one was a little more descent, it was dark, as I like them, but an Ale after all. I finally was told properly how about the numbers.

Dark beer with a gentle head, the aroma is sour and btter, and the flavour is fizzy and watery with a slight hint of coffee. Overall a good Scottish beer.

I find this beer hard to fault, as its better than most of the belhaven range. Aroma is slightly minimal though some malt character kicking through. Taste is More going to the hops, though maybe a little under hopped. Alright for a 3% ale.
