Cask at GBBF 2009. A light red brown colour with a thin head. The aroma was all malt with a hint of butterscotch. Flavor is all hops and caramel, which leads, to a dry finish.

Cask @ GBBF 2007, London. Light unclear amber color with a small, virtually none head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, mouldy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a short duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat.

Cask@GBBF2007. Dark coppery amber colour with small beige head. Aroma is earth, spices, malts and hops. Quite "meaty" notes in the aroma too. Flavour is hoppy, slightly earthy, malty and quite watery.

Cask Halfway house Edinburgh ... Solid brown ... light sweet roast malt little smoke nose ... Strong sweet soft malt little metalic packed with flavour and depth. All that a 60 Shilling should be.
