I drank this fine brew in Dunbar, Scotland (Home of Belhaven) a few years ago. We were in a mansion mounted on a cliff overlooking the North Sea... absolutely magical. Fine nutty and roasted malt balance with a fantastic smooth hop finish. Lovely! BeerBaronLS (85), Grove City, Ohio, USA

I really liked it, but I wonder what it would be like from a bottle. kreepindeth (405), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA

I admit this beer is rather bland and has no strong flavors, but for some reason I like it. I love the smooth, creamy texture it has. Slightly sweet malty flavors present. Hbie (133), Essex, England

I would like to try this again as not sure this was really right, as not in the cellar long enough. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA

Copper colour. Toffee profile in aroma. Light caramelly flavour with hints of toffee. Diacetyl bomb. More edgy than regular cask ales, and the ones with so much butterscotch.
