Copper coloured with a small head. Aroma is roasted and malty. Somewhat smoky flavour with a quite good bitterness. Medium bodied, but a little short aftertaste.

Malty aroma. Mahogany color. Small head. Interesting malty flavor with some bitter coffee in the finish. A very pleasant beer.

(Bottle 50 cl) 3.9% ABV in my version. Neat, clear, dark amber with a handsome, thick, creamy off-white head that leaves some pretty lacing. Malty aroma with a wee hint of smoke. Very light-bodied but with heaps of flavours, lovely malty, roasted notes and a smoky touch. Impressivily full-flavoured for such a "small" beer. 101105

Well, another bitter one, just as the others. BUt this is a little darker and has a bread smell, I like the hops in it.

Copper colour, minimal head, roasty, taste is pleasant, waterly in the end, but still finish is good.

Defo one of the better scoish bottled ales u can pick up from tesco. Not much in the way of aroma but some malt. Taste is pleasent, malty slightly nutty and as it warms the hopps comes through more. An alright bottled ale, nothing special though.
