Neat, clear, dark amber with a handsome, thick, creamy off-white head that leaves some pretty lacing. Malty aroma with a wee hint of smoke. Very light-bodied but with heaps of flavours, lovely malty, roasted notes and a smoky touch. Impressivily full-flavoured for such a "small" beer. 101105 yespr (12345), Copenhagen O, Denmark

But now I must admit, that this beer is a nice one. The head is beautiful, the color is nice and so is the aroma. The flavour starts with many notes of fruit and hop, the bitterness is moderate in the beginning, but it rises and lasts quite a while. Just before the end I sense notes of licorice and roasted malt. Not much in the way of aroma but some malt. Taste is pleasent, malty slightly nutty and as it warms the hopps comes through more. An alright bottled ale, nothing special though.
