Experience the best of everything with """"""""the cream of Scottish beer"""""""". Its light creamy head with lacing to the bottom of the glass gives you a taste that’s refreshing and moreish with a hint of hop.

Tasted on Draught at the ’Elephant and Wheelbarrow’ in Northbridge. I must be biased, because this seems to rate a distant second to Belhaven’s mainstream Scottish Ale. Pours a Pale Auburn, with a short dense beige head. Low carbonation gives a lightish mouthfeel. Good malt taste and low bitterness, not very demanding. Still a good sessionable Ale, none the less.

Creamy malty aroma with some vanilla. Flavor is malty but thin. Has a weak finish, andf I never found what really good in this one...

500 ml nitro widget can. Golden amber colour with a lasting creamy off-white head. Caramel and light orange peel aroma. Flavours starts decent enough, with caramel and brown sugar, then deteriorates to a metallic and lightly acidic finish. Light to medium bodied with a typical nitro can watery and thin mouthfeel.

Interesting beer. Pours a nice amber colour with very nice head. Aromas of peat malt, scotch whiskey. There’s not alot of hop action, but overall I would say it’s a very drinkable, nicely made concoction. Would make excellent patio beer for grilling etc. Can drink gallons of the stuff as it’s only 3.9 ABV. Very pretty in a pint glass.

What a delight, something other than a bitter in the UK. Clear red-brown coloured, creamy head. Malty and bitter aroma and flavour. Superbly smooth. Sampled in some pub in Edinburgh. I like Edinburgh, and i like this beer :-).

Canned. Amber with a dense "draught flow" head. Aomras are metallic, sulphurous and thin. Flavours are also sulphurous with some floral hops and a little bitterness. Watery with a short dry finish. Soft on the palate. The worst Belhaven - not the Best.
