Experience the best of everything with """"""""the cream of Scottish beer"""""""". Its light creamy head with lacing to the bottom of the glass gives you a taste that’s refreshing and moreish with a hint of hop.

21.09.2009, on tap at Bad Ass pub/restaurant, Edinburgh. amberbrown colour with a nice thick white head. Aroma is a little weak. There is maltyness and some bitterness. Aftertaste is soft and short.

This beer’s rating number 100. Canned 440ml. A lot of marshmallows, caramel and some marmite showing up in the taste. Low bitterness. Smooth. Very low carbonation. Light bodied. Easy drinkable. Nutty finish which is reminiscent of candy floss. Decent and boring.

Can, bought @ LIVA, Kolding.
Pours clear coppery amber with that lovely, creamy, white nitro-ball head. Great duration as well. Mild aroma, a tad of caramel, some sweet malts and a bit of grassy hops. Lowish carbonation, fine mouthfeel for a 3,5 % ABV. Flavour is mild, though. Some general sweetness, a touch of bubblegum maltiness, some fruit and a slight touch of hops. It is okay, but not really interesting in any way.

Keg at the Aston Hotel, Dumfries. Golden amber with a dense nitro-style cream head; dull malty aroma; fruity malt flavour with a hint of hops to finish; smooth and easy drinking - but why bother.

On tap at the Argyle Arms. Nitro pour, which looks impressive when they bring it to the table, but I doubt it does much for the flavour. It was smooth and the low alcohol make it a good choice for lunch.

Canned. Amber colour with small creamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is flowery and fruity hops along with some wood and caramel. Flavour is quite identical. Smooth carbonation. Easy to drink.

On tap at Irish Rover in Plano, TX. May have been the heat, but this was a very creamy refreshing beer that went well with my corned beef and cabbage. Very creamy frothy white head, caramel malt, lacing to the bottom of glass.

Weak, flavourless overly creamy Scottish dishwater. Reminds me of tasteless rubbish like John Smiths
