Experience the best of everything with """"""""the cream of Scottish beer"""""""". Its light creamy head with lacing to the bottom of the glass gives you a taste that’s refreshing and moreish with a hint of hop.

Draught @ The Kenilwort, 152-154 Rose Street, Edinburgh EH2 3JD, Scotland.
Clear light to medium amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, vegetable, caramel notes, light honey and toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090408]

Nitro can(500ml). -bought at Kaledonia Budapest. Dark golden coloured, typical long-lasting creamy nitro head. Mild roasty malt, caramel and hoppy herbal with nutty notes. Evident lack of alcohol here. Low carbonation, very smooth and easy drinkable.

Pours thick creamy dark side of blonde, creamy head. Taste is too pasteurised in my opinion, thick creamy texture and little flavour except some mild bitterness. This tastes like a macro-style brew. Dissapointing as I like most of the other Belhaven beers.

Draught. Pours very appealing dark amber with creamy off-white head, which lasts all the way down the glass. Quite weak aroma of cereal, and nothing much on the palate either. Inoffensive but unmemorable.

A clear amber/orange colored beer, with a small off white foamy head. The aroma of caramel malt, some fruits. The taste of caramel as well. The flavor starts smooth, but gets more bitter. The aftertaste stays bitter for a while.

Pint from keg at Aikman’s Bistro in St Andrews. Served far too cold. Deep copper-amber in body colour. Low white head. Discreet smell of sweet malts. Hints of caramel malts in flavour. Foamy in the mouth. Easy going [27.10.2008].

From tap at Winstons. Pours clear and golden orange with a small and dense white head. Roasted malty aroma. Light breadish flavoured with a roasted malty and slight caramelish note. On the mild dry side. Light bitter and slight citric into the finish.

This one is nothing special, along with the low aroma its got the normal smooth malts and low hops, its decent.
