Tap at Caledonia Pub(called Best Belhaven Ale). Nice amber color and a surprisingle beautiful creamy head. Avarage aroma and a hoppy taste with a little acidic notes and a balanced carbonation. Good drink with your buds.

Csapolva ittam,úgy pedig Best a neve.Egy kellemes ale, nincs benne semmi ütős.Olyan hétköznapi "dumálós" ital.Bár legalább ilyen lenne minden átlag agyonreklámozott, egyen sör!

On-tap as Belhaven Best at The Abbotsford, Edinburgh. Golden red/orange color with a creamy white head. Aroma: Faint sweet aroma, grain, some boiled vegetables. Flavor: Creamy mouthfeel (nitro-tap?) but not much taste. Some faint sweet malt, vegetables, bread, a bit of hop bitterness. Boring.

Bottled, 500ml, pasteurised, from Morrisons. Golden, carbonated white head. Thin, boiled malt, characterless beer with metallc and wet cardboard flavours. Sweetish cereal notes and low impact finish. Not good.

Keg, november 07. Golden clear color with a big, compact, creamy white head. Sweet, creamy flavor with some bitterness, that fades to blandness. Medium to light palate, slightly rough and a bland methallic aftertaste. Non existant aroma, some skunky notes. Bland, forgettable keg "bitter".

Can. As ‘Belhaven Best’. Pours golden brown with a creamy off-white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is creamy and sweet, with faint licorice notes at first, but quickly deteriorates into cereals and notes of air mattress rubber. Yuck! Malty flavour. Slight notes of rye. Cereals again. Thin finish. Some bitterness. This was bad. 24-01-08.

Draught can. Comes as "Belhaven Best". Pours a deep amber colour with a short well lasting creamy beige head. Quite weak slight metal cereal malty aroma. Weak flavour of some sweet malt with some caramel and hops. Boring.

[1058-20080121] Tap @ Abbot on the Hill (Toronto, ON). Bit of yeast and sweet grains aroma. Clear, amber red body pours a big long-lasting creamy off-white head with thick lacing. Nice grainy yeast flavour has a hint of floral hay. Medium body is creamy but a touch thin. In remarkable condition, this brew seems a typically drinkable mild pint.
