Sweet, creamy flavor with some bitterness, that fades to blandness. Medium to light palate, slightly rough and a bland methallic aftertaste. Non existant aroma, some skunky notes. Bland, forgettable keg "bitter". NosirIwont (1186), Aalborg Vestby, Denmark
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Jan 25, 2008 Can. As ‘Belhaven Best’. Pours golden brown with a creamy off-white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is creamy and sweet, with faint licorice notes at first, but quickly deteriorates into cereals and notes of air mattress rubber. Yuck! Malty flavour. Slight notes of rye. Cereals again. Thin finish. Some bitterness. This was bad. 24-01-08. faroeviking (6125), BjórtjóđveldiđBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 22, 2008 [1058-20080121] Tap @ Abbot on the Hill (Toronto, ON). Bit of yeast and sweet grains aroma. Clear, amber red body pours a big long-lasting creamy off-white head with thick lacing. Nice grainy yeast flavour has a hint of floral hay. Medium body is creamy but a touch thin. In remarkable condition, this brew seems a typically drinkable mild pint.
