Not cask, but nitrokeg version of Belhaven Best. Nothing outstanding, same as most other nitrokeg beers. Belhaven do far better than this.

Coppery color, big light brown head which lasts. Malty, mildly smoky aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Roasted, medium smoky flavor with some sweet tones, smoke lasts in aftertaste with sligth dryness. Smooth palate.

Draught,Belhaven Best.Dark golden colour, typical thick "draught" head. Pretty much a bland, altogether tasteless, liquid. Why anyone would want to drink this is beyond me. It was bought for me in my absence ( I had to go to the cashpoint and hadn’t said what I wanted to drink) These "draught" beers are more about texture than flavour.

Draught- at Charlotte Room. Poured slightly hazy light reddish amber with a typically huge, creamy, off-white head that lasted the whole pint. Aroma is very interesting - sharply malt-sweet, some hops, and a decided resiny petroleum tang - not nasty, but pungent. Taste follows the nose, very sweet with some grains, tree fruits and still that tarry taste - at first it’s a little unusual, but a couple of swallows it goes down very nicely indeed. Very creamy mouthfeel. I would like to try it on cask.
