Aroma is composed mostly of weak fruit sweetness. Taste is a mix of English ale malt and some fruit juice; honestly this mix won’t go down in history. I’m not sure I want to seek other product from this brewery after this. tupalev (2618), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 5, 2004 I thought this was ok. Fantastic berry aroma. Decent medium body, off yellow. First taste is too much - a very bitter combination of too much berry with the malt. But as it warms it seemed to blend better and by the end I didn’t mind it. Aroma is sweet and fruity (strawberries and aples). Very appealing. Taste is bitter fruit tastes (strawberries) with some sweet malt characters. Aftertaste is bitter. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 26, 2004 Deep gold with a pillowy white head. Aroma of mixed berries and apples. Lots of fruit juice and some beer flavours. I remember this beer being more balanced. Tastes are somewhat artificial but not offensive. Light lemon, blackberries and raspberries are it’s main stand out. Not much after that. maeib (4775), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 25, 2004 Bottled. This beer smells just like strawbeery yoghurt. The label does not suggest which fruit is in it and after tasting it I'm still not sure as it tasted a bit like blackcurrants. The colour is light brown and on pouring it has a good white head, but this soon disappears. Not a fruit beer in the classic Belgian sense but a cheap replica. Better than drinking lager though. | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Apr 10, 2004 Amber body, ok head. Strong berry aroma, more like fruit syrup than beer. Very fruity flavor: apple, lemon and berries. A little malty and hoppy beer-taste in the background but still quite artificial and not very beer-like. Definately not my kind of beer! Pale copper color and small white creamy head. Aroma is sweet and dark berries: strawberries and blackberries. Quite light-bodied, finishing fruity, taste of black currant. Lacks strength. jutuahol (189), Jyväskylä, Finland

Clear black currant aroma with notes of strawberry and rasperry, fruity a bit dry. Almost medium body. Black currant, stawberry, rasperry, a bit dry, lightly bittered flavor. Dryer and bitter finish. Nice and different beer overall.
