Not your typical fruit beer - a lovely, tasty dark beer flavoured with Scottish fruits, including raspberry, blackberrys and strawberrys. Magnificent aroma.

This tastes like summer morning! like running through strawberryfields in the early mist. Heaven. Still tastes of beer, not too sweet, gorgeous, like as much as summer mornings :-)

Bottle 10 C; Scotland Lovely fruity flavors (raspberry, strawberrys, blackberrys etc) Brewed according to Germans traditions? Anyhow the beer also have a maltyness that is distinct.

a sim rate: Unlike in most Belgian fruit beers, the fruit flavour is subtle and not too overwhelming. You still get an ale taste peeking through, which, to a beer drinker is refreshing and welcomed. It’s very drinkable and leaves a great malty aftertaste.

Oh come on, it’s not that bad. Especially on top of a Peeterman’s. Reddish amber pour with well-retained creamy white suds. Slightly sickly vanilla, hop leaf and copper in the snout. A perfectly natural tasting combination of leafy hop bitterness, creamy malt and background fruitiness. Subtle, well-balanced and refreshing. Even if it does taste more than a little bit like Campino strawberry and vanilla sweets.

Bottle. I was expecting a more interesting appearance, but it was just plain old light-amber with a disappointing head. Very interesting and unique aroma: grapes, a hint of vinegar, somewhat lambic-ish. Unfortunately the flavor doesn't quite follow through on this. It's more like stale bread with some maltiness. Not the rich berries and grapes that I was hoping for...

Pours well with a medium sized head.Initial taste reminded me of rasberies but after a while other fruits seemed to be battling to get through. Not a bad attempt at a fruit beer and the brewery are to be congratulated on trying something different.
