bottled, Reykjavik. Loads of roasted nuts and raisins in the aroma, some hops and malt too. Roasted nuts again on the palate, some maltiness. Decent stout

Bottle. Dark brown color. Medium head with medium duration. Very light for a stout type. Tastes more like an ale actually.

Bottle. Pours a very dark amber/chestnut colour which plunges into black at the center of the glass. Nice, lasting yellowish head with elegant lacing. Aromas a little withheld, with a slightly unpleasant smell of manure and pipe smoke. Very interesting woody flavour which gradually evolves to reveal an intense flavours of liquorice sticks. Hints of the bitterness of artichokes and Brussels sprouts throughout. Mouthfeel is a little weird though: very watery with a slightly acidic aftertaste, reminiscent of the acidity in certain types of goat’s cheese. Ends on a bizarrely sweet note which throws the whole palate out of balance and ruins the beer, I’m afraid. Quite unpleasant to drink, despite a few interesting aromas.

Dark reddish brown with a decent, but not long lasting head. Aromas of malt, molasses and caramel. Quite sweet with a bit of a bitter aftertaste. Pleasant and unspectacular.

Reddish brown colour with a dense tan head. Faintly roasted malty aroma with a light dark fruit note. Dark fruit sweet flavor with some coffee bitterness.

Bottle. Acidic aroma. Very dark brown colour. Stable rocky head. Flavour is hoppily fruity and malty with a hint of liquorice and coffee. Fruity stout? Sweet, salty aftertaste. Quite tasty for its ABV.

35,5 cl bottle. No yeast at the bottom. Dark ruby colour with a creamy like weak head. Very malty aroma with hints of roastedness and smoke. Sweet flavour with notes of roastedness, and hints of smoke. Tasteful and very drinkable.
