It poured reddish brown body with medium sized ivory head. Nice caramel and some hops in its aroma. Pleasant caramelly and coffee flavor, slightly herbal with notes of licorice and chocolate, bit watery and thin bodied, but pleasant. Medium long sweetish caramelly and vanilla finish. A fine stout which misses some body. plovmand (1737), Helsinge, Denmark

Rather discreet aroma: sweet and slightly roasted malty nose with burnt elements (caramel) and traces of chocolate and red berries. Moderately sweet flavour, light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Mildly roasted malty base with notes of chocolate and berry fruits, reminding me a bit of Meantime Chocolate; finishes sweetish and faint roasty, but with stronger fruity notes. Not only a tad too sweet for my liking (14.VII.09). Doggythedog (1601), Split, Croatia

Sweet, light nose, raisins and earthy roasty maltiness. This is a light roasty and earthy stout with some light acidic notes too. Dryish hop near the end. Not bad, but like the other Belhaven beers I’ve had yesterday, distinctly average at best.
