| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 21, 2006 Draught at Old Brick’s Inn, Jyväskylä. Dark reddish color with decent head. The aroma is sweet with roasted malt and licorice. The taste is a bit dryer but still a blend of sweetness and soft but distictive roastedness, licorice, smoke and charcoal. A bit too sweet to be balanced. Tranquillity (1181), Espoo, Finland

Not many fingers of foam, but it’s quite dark and thick. The sweet aroma include butter, toffee and brown sugar. Very interesting sweet taste with a latent strong smoke at the end. A bit too sweet, no bitterness to be felt even in the finish. There’s more and more smoke in the aftertaste. spporras (260), Finland

Red black colour, bright and brownish, average size, fully diminishing head with a hint of lacing. Roasted malty and sweet (caramel-like) flavour with a hint of bitterness. Medium-bodied, softly carbonated and slightly creamy palate. Rather thin stout but not a bad one though! 08/08/06 nigredo (28), Santiago de Chile, Chile

Not much taste, like could be expected from the aroma. Well prepared, but a little weak taste. Panzerfaust (401), Santiago, Chile

Head is medium, creamy and rocky, off-white in color and showing good retention. It leaves a fair lacing.
Aroma is pretty much the one of a Sweet Stout, very malty with notes of butterscotch, toffee, and hints of milk and marzipan.
Soft flavor, sweet with a little of caramel and a slight touch of Syrah wine but without the alcohol. A buttery note is also present.
Ultra smooth but thin beer. It dissolves in the mouth quickly. This Stout has no trace of alcohol whatsoever. No carbonation, texture is oily and the aftertaste is nice. Simple, easy-to-drink stout. Eirikur (301), Alftanes, Iceland

Roasted malts. Soft carbonation. Very drinkable, very well balanced. Not really a stout though? (resembles a thin ’hvidtøl’...).
