The aroma is very slight but contains notes of sweetness, fruit and smoke. The flavor is sweet at first (not very stout'y), then it turns slightly smoked, and dry with fruit notes. It ends on a sweet bitterness. It's a nice beer, but not a stout in my universe. Papsoe (15097), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Soft and malty with a weak, burned edge. Not as dry as a typical Irish Stout, actually a bit sweet with almost no bitterness. Very pleasant. 050203 yespr (12313), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Bottled. (re-rate Dec 2006). Dark ruby red colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, raisins and slight hops. Flavour is plum, raisins, dry dark fruit and malts.
