33cl bottle, dark caramel color with small off-white head, quite creamy but with some bubbles, not very long lasting and goog lacing. aroma is very light, not easy to describe... some sweetness and roasted cereals... taste is sweeter than I expect from a stout... notes of milk chocolate, absolutely no bitterness. average carbonation and dark bread on finish a nice beer, easy to drink, but is not my standard of stout...

Color mahogany with small head. Light aroma of toasted cereal. Very light body that slips away without so much thickness.

355ml dark brown bottle, label as pictured. Pours a dark, nutty, clear brown with a small, creamy beige head with good retention and plenty of lacing. Intense aroma of sweet, dark chocolate and roasted malt. Medium carbonation and body, fairly thick mouth feel. Initially sweet flavour of chocolate and vanilla, but soon enough the bitter side comes to the fore and the taste turns coffee-ish, still with a clear chocolaty note. Dry, bitter finish but chocolaty after taste. Interesting mix iof flavours - but this is closer in style to a porter, I think. But, as with all of the Bellhaven brews, there*s not much to criticize. Well-balanced, creamy and refreshing at the same time (due to healthy carbonation), rather complex. Good, but definitely not too sessionable.

Bottle. A sweet aroma of malt, chocolate and some syrup. The creamy light brown head is medium large with a normal duration, the body is dark red. The taste is rather sweet for a stout, tasted of chocolate with malt candy. The body is medium strong, creamy-silky with a soft carbonation. A nice sweet stout from Scotland.

Thick & dense cream-coloured head over dark brown beer with a ruby sheen. Fruity nose, slightly roasted, avec some sourish lactic notes. Much more roasted notes it the taste, but again quite fruity and very discreet sweetness; and in the finish again the lactic touch, giving it a bit Oud Bruin dimension. Retronasal some nutty touches. Medium bodied, thick & creamy for its low ABV. Nice, absolutely.
