Clear, rich amber color. Medium consistent, creamy, off-white head. Roasted malt, milk chocolate, grainy aroma with lactic acidity . Toffe, caramel, grainy flavors. Light bodied with decent carbonation. Soft dry aftertaste. Just like St. Andrews, but lot more lighter in the body and the aftertaste.

appears clear amber with a thick not that large heaad. aroma is a little faint. faint honey, faint sweetness, faint bitterness from gentle hops, faint caramel. flavor is slightly grassy, slightly fruity, gentle malts, caramel, a bit on the sweet side. aftartaste gets alittle more bitter and you just barely notice the alc. warms up and it gets a little more sawdusty. and hoppy.

Bottle. A clear, dark golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma is on the malty side, with toffee and some fruityness. Malty, toffeeish flavor too, and the fruityness from the aroma is also present, in a nice and more pronounced way. Mediium to full body. A weak but really drinkable and tasteful beer. (080620)
