Aroma is quite malty, little hop presence. Seems a bit stale mettalic with a malt sweetness. Thin on the palate. slipy120 (69), Michigan, USA

Had a subtle sweetness to it that was very enjoyable that was followed by a slight bitter aftertaste. Good mouthfeel and aroma had hints of vanilla. Very creamy. A must try. teamiouf (3), , California, USA does not count | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Sep 26, 2008 If you like the flavor of Newcastle then you will probably love this. The head remained throughout the entire drink. Smells of sweet malts and it tastes of some nuttiness and the malts. There are some decent hops involved that add a nice balance to this beer. Very creamy mouthfeel. Overall, a pretty nice session beer. hoplover (166), Corpus Christi, Texas, USA

The beer poured a beautiful foggy light brown color with a hint of red. Smells of sweet malt with a pinch of hops. Well balanced flavor and aroma. The nuttiness is outstanding. Very smooth on the palate. Feels full bodied. Just a well balanced ale.
