Copper beer with white head. Has a malty sweet aroma and tastes of caramel, bread, nuts. Has a smooth mouthfeel with a touch of diacetyl to round things out.

Draught at Old Brick’s Inn, Jyväskylä. Dark amber color with small head. Malty, caramelly and toffeish aroma. Malty, caramelly and slightly vinous flavor with subtle coffeish roastiness in the background.

Bottle (in NZ), pours an "ox-blood" colour with a foamy tan head. A strong oaky aroma emanated when I poured, but from the glass it seemed to be a much more subtle nutty malt. A strong caramalised malt flavour, with notes of smokey whiskey and an increased hop bitterness in the finish. A well balanced bitter. Hard to believe it is only 3.9%!

I loved this one. Pours a brown/orange color. Nitrous guy there in the can. Nice head, not a lot of carbonation which I like. Nice nutty taste, a little but not over powering. This one is a winner as far as I am concerned.

Pours from the bottle with a beautiful orange-brown color, but a very thin head. Has a faint aroma of butterscotch. Taste is of smoky malt with a hint of carmely sweetness, but quite watery with little carbonation and hardly any flavor lingering on the palate. Overall, a disappointment.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear amber with a thin but long-lasting off-white head. Light aroma of malt. Really not all that flavorful either with some caramel malt along with some moderate hops bitterness at the finish. Medium bodied. A decent beer.

Not much aroma, a little oil, gum, caramel, and burnt wood. It’s a dark, dark amber ale with a small, very thick foam head. It tastes lke peat, hickory, and whisky and has a very thick consistency. Good lacing n the glass. A heavy full flavored beer, with lite alcohol content. Quit a feat.
