| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 26, 2006 Nose of malt and a bit of hops. Nice foamy head, and flavors of nuts and just a hint of smoke. A well-built beer, but not impressive. rjulian24 (18), USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 23, 2006 A nice beer with strong smokey flavor and aroma, although it maybe a little overpowering for the size of the beer. Caramel flavor and aroma is less than I would like, but still very well made beer and very enjoyable as an afterdinner drink. PilsnerPeter (2617), Flushing, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 23, 2006 Pours a nice looking golden/amber with a dense creamy tan head. The aroma is fruity and spicy. Creamy body and mouthfeel. Bitter fruityness (plummy), roasted fig aspect. A touch of spicyness and has a balancing light dryness in the finish. Good flavors and body texture, considering the low alcohol content. CapFlu (3482), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Oct 22, 2006 (500ml bottle) Purchased at the BC Liquor Store in Fairfield Plaza, Victoria. Pours a medium, tan head with a light brown body. Nose of roasted caramel malt. Really unimpressed with this beer as I thought there would be more malt-base to it. I found it rather watery and thin - all the while the malt didn’t hold much mossy or earthy tones. Lacking. A disappointment.
