Jul 12, 2009 On tap at Austin Saucer on July 11, 2009. Impressive silky white head... almost unreal. Reddish-brown color. Crazy thick lacing. A nicely malty brew with a bitter flavor and a hint of moss. Delectable!

Jun 29, 2009 Pours a deep amber with a large, fluffy head that recedes slowly. Aroma is of molasses, maple, a little nutty. Flavor is of chestnuts, a little brown sugar, and lemon. Cardboard too. Mouthfeel is full, with nice carbonation throughout. Overall, good minus.

Pours a nutty brown/amber w/ nutty and malty aromas; flavor is standard for an English bitter (sorry if that is unhelpful); lacks too much sophistication, but would make for a great session brew; wait for this one to warm up a bit.

Jun 14, 2009 Bottled both as 80/- and Scottish Ale (argh) at the Kaledonia in Budapest. Poured a lovely dark alber/coppery body with a persistant small thick white head. Light, subtle grainy malty notes, noted orange (80) and grass (SA) as well. Light, subtle earthy maltiness, grainy, sweetish, with a persistant bitterish aftertaste and even a touch of acidity (80). Clean and drinkable but lacking. Might be overrating it a little.
