Nov 27, 2002 A beutiful golden beer with a good head. It has a fresh slightly fruity aroma. And a nice malt flavor at first, but it is very light and almost watery but ends on a nice dry bitterness. An OK beer but not extraordinary.

Dec 25, 2003 Slightly flourescent yellow colour. Hmmmm. Grassy, slightly herbal aroma. Toasty flavours with some sultana notes, uric acid and hay. Conjures up a scene in provincial Afghanistan where the villagers are making a spiceless plov by burning dung while a little boy takes a leak in the corner. It's that unclean.

Feb 26, 2007 500ml bottle from Franglais, Calais. Gold colour with thick white head. Cardboard, stale malt aroma, some faint hop. Bit nothingy in mouth. Metallic crisp carbonation on end. Some fragrant hop. Some very wet cardboard. Oh dear. Ugly. It’s a dull empty lager.

Jun 10, 2007 Golden, nice head. The aroma is malty and lightly hopped. The flavour is weird, it has notes of peat and smoke and no bitterness. I didn’t like it.
