Bottle. Pours a brown black body with a tan rocky head. Caramel, chocolate, light vanilla, toffee and butterscotch. Hints of smoked malt and minerals. I’ve always liked these guys and this is one of their better offerings.

Brown sugar, toffee and roasted aroma, all typically European delicate, taste just a hair sweet slightly smoked roasted malt with that distinct caramel chocolate subtleness that only the brewers of Scotland can seem to nail down, smooth as silk. Taste better if its your first one of the night

Opaque black color with medium sized, lasting, coffee-brown head with creamy texture. Medium roasted aroma with mild smoky character. Distinct roasted coffee beans with slight dark chocolate and cocoa. Heavy roasted feel in the finish with some resinous hoppy tones. I don’t know what is the main difference between the dry and the simple stout, but this one seemed quite dry to me. Medium bodied with smooth carbonation and creamy texture. Delicate!

It is black with a red hue and a creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate and anise. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, dark fruits, chocolate and hints of licorice. It is really nice, and it is clearly the best Belhaven I have had.

Black with a light tan head. Aroma is a lightly roasty old milk chocolate, interesting yeast and hop combination. Taste is lightly roasty, with milk chocolate, and chocolate syrup- Tastes like an amped up Youngs Chocolate Stout.

Bottled(500ml). -at Kaledonia Budapest. Black coloured, medium sized brown head that went away slowly leaving nice lace. Mild chocolate nose. Roasted malt, chocolate and light coffee taste with notes of vanilla and cocoa. Smooth and quite silky with dry roasty finish. Well brewed stout.

Deepdeep black body, delicious stable and creamy beige head. Rich aroma with deep roasted malt, vanilla, sweet candy sugar. Smooth mouthfeel of robustic roasted malt, coffee, sweet vanilla, dark chocolate and some herbs. Roasted aftertaste. Delicious and fine, characteristic one.
