Dark brown color, good creamy beige head, lace. Sticky balsamico aroma with caramelly notes. Quite light body. Caramelly, some cocoa and vinegar notes. Tap was probably a bit unclean. Some chocolaty notes in the aftertaste. Quite useless brew. thewolf (5822), Kolding, Denmark

Pours mahogany brown with nearly no head. Very weak aroma, very lightly roasted. Okay, but a little light mouthfeel. Flavour is weak and thin, lightly roasted. Quite a let-down. bu11zeye (5621), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 1, 2009 Nitro pour at Ginger Man. Black beer with a thick off-white/tan head. Aroma is lightly cocoaish with a light touch of estery sweetness as well. A light cherry fruit over some decently roasty maltiness. Very smooth palate. As I go through this, the beer actually gets a bit simpler and less tasty. A little bit of lingering cocoa on the back.
