Dark brown color, good creamy beige head, lace. Sticky balsamico aroma with caramelly notes. Quite light body. Caramelly, some cocoa and vinegar notes. Tap was probably a bit unclean. Some chocolaty notes in the aftertaste. Quite useless brew.

Tap @ Aarhus, 2008.
Pours mahogany brown with nearly no head. Very weak aroma, very lightly roasted. Okay, but a little light mouthfeel. Flavour is weak and thin, lightly roasted. Quite a let-down.

Nitro pour at Ginger Man. Black beer with a thick off-white/tan head. Aroma is lightly cocoaish with a light touch of estery sweetness as well. A light cherry fruit over some decently roasty maltiness. Very smooth palate. As I go through this, the beer actually gets a bit simpler and less tasty. A little bit of lingering cocoa on the back.
