Tranquillity (1165), Espoo, Finland Mar 5, 2008 Cask @ St. Kitty’s, Helsinki. Very mild malt aroma. Taste watered-out pear juice. Dark copper colour, a real ale-style white head. cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland Mar 2, 2007 light amber coloured ale, verry hoppy nose, with a friuit hop finish, very ipaish in style Magicdave6 (5400), London, Greater London, England Feb 27, 2007 Somewhat discoless. Perhaps a tree with a shoe and a car which doesnt go, i think a large cake with little cheese. One part of me says this is false and well if cows do fly then i am indeed disco... This is probably one of my most pleasant experiences with a Belhaven beer, bottled or cask. Pours a light orangish yellow with a virtually non-existant aroma that perhaps hints of a British session ale but I don’t know how much of that was actually simply my imagination. I’ll give it a 4 simply because I didn’t pick up anything unpleasant, either, so that puts it out ahead of most US macros. The flavor is a mild a bitters / blond ale: slightly sour, a tad metallic, and wholly unimpressive; the mouthfeel, for its part, is staggeringly thin. I’m certainly not moved by this beer in any way.
