Bottle at home ... this on Cask used to be my staple favorite beer way back in the day ... nice copper ... sweet malt fruits ... juicy sweet toffee malts ... little hop in back bone ... medium body ... medium heavy carbonation ... all round quite solid.

Wow! What a wonderful beer. Very complex flavors, creamy, malty, tasty. I’ll definitely buy this one again. Much better than Belhaven Scottish Ale.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a thin lasting head over a slightly cloudy amber body....nose of slight caramel, mild malts, no hops.....tastes of balanced malts, minimal hop bitterness at the end....mouth feel is medium weight and creamy. A pleasant beer.

Better than the Scottish Ale, but still, I’ll go for anything Belhaven. Tastes a little chocolatey. Great with a cheesecake. Well, to me, at least.

Pours a cloudy brownish/maroon color with a large foamy white head. Aroma consists of caramel, a light fruitiness, slight malt textures, subtle hop notes, and liquid smoke. Taste is nice and heavy malt, rather creamy, and light smoke notes. Palate is slightly bitter and quite creamy

330 mL. Pours a nice amber with a two-finger, off-white head that has good retention and lacing. Nice aroma of floral hops, herbs, and caramel. Taste is a little bland- some toffee, butter, rye bread, and biscuit. Very dry aftertaste.

12oz bottle. Pours a medium amber color. Strong malty roasted aroma with cocoa and dark fruit. Slightly sweet roasted malt flavor along with raisin and roasted coffee in the finish. Smooth nice ale.
