Amber color, small head, subdued aroma, but a nice classic bitter taste. Great for a session brew, as it’s not very strong, but quite tasty.

Dark amber color, nice frothy head. Aroma is scotch, barley, malt. Flavor is malty and dry, with a little fruit. Crisp, albeit a tad thin. I like it, though.

I enjoy this beer. Has a smooth flavor, kind of malty. Good hearty feel to it. This is one of the best Scottish Ales that you can find in the US, but of course not the best that you can find in Scotland.

0,35 l, bottle(Caledonia:)). Dark- amber color, nice head. Smooth aroma and taste with malt and caramel with a hint of fruits. Little sweety, little hoppy, good body. Nice ale:)

Bottle: Amber pour with a fading, light tan head. Fruity aroma. Some mild plummy notes and cinnamon. Fairly light mouth feel, but the flavor is very nice. Has a rich malt character, which is mildly toasted with a vanilla-toffee hint and a plummy fruitiness. The finish shows some more toasted cinnamon character. A tasty and well balanced ESB.

A right amount of flavoring, particularly caramel, mixed with a strong, smooth barley taste. Extremely smooth drink ability and a pleasant aroma.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber color. Aroma is toffee and caramel. Flavor is a nice smooth malt flavor with touches of hops. More like a Scottish ale than a ESB, but however you categorize it - it was pretty decent.

Tasted like a scotish ale(which is exaclty what it technically was). Hints of toffee and butter in the aroma and tasted the same with light hops and more butter. Good amount of malt as well. I liked this one because of the smoothness and the scotch flavor. I might buy this one again.
