Commercial Description:
Bottle: Pasteurised.
A full-bodied and malty ale with a rounded, smooth fruit palate and a tight, creamy head that laces all the way down the glass. Rich in colour with a smooth, creamy texture and a distinctively strong flavour.

Nice amber color with an average head and a strong malty aroma. Great brussels lace. Has a rich malty taste that goes down easy. I have had this beer a few time and really liked it a couple times and was not quite as sure on the others.

Bottle: quite malty, light caramel, some toasted notes, light fruity notes, nice roasted notes, good bitterness, some woody and peaty smoke which is nice, medium bodied, creamy mouthfill, one of my favorite beers.

This brew had an awesome color for a scotch ale. Not only was this beer malty but peaty as well. I love the peat finish. Very little in the way of hops, flavor or smell and that’s the way it should be with a Scotish Ale. It is very unfortunate that someone catagorized this SCOTTISH ALE as an ESB. MALTY, LITTLE HOPS, AND PEATY FINISH.........definitely a SCOTCH ALE.

Bottle. Dark amber, with a thick, creamy off-white head. Malty aroma, very consistent with a Bitter. Medium body and a bit sweater than anticipated. Pretty good and true to style for a bottled beer.

Pours amber with a nice white head. Aroma is sweet and a little hoppy. Flavor is mild but pleasant, a nice malty taste combined with mild bitterness and just a hint of a fruit presence. Im not a fan of ESB’s, but this isnt bad.

Just another pilsner no big fuzz, can’t recommend this to my friends. The best about this bee is the color, amberish.

Pours amber with large off-white head. Aroma of roasted caramel malt and yeast. Flavor to match, but adds more malty sweetness. Well balanced, but a little on the light side.
