Flavor to match, but adds more malty sweetness. Well balanced, but a little on the light side.

This medium bodied ale has a taste of malt and some sweetness and dryness on the back end. A little weak in flavor. chimplechamp (465), Oslo, Norway

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 28, 2007 Copper with a nice off-white head. The malty aroma got to me even before the beer was poured. Some biscuit, light fruity hops, and sweet malts. Smooth body. Nothing offensive here, just a glass full of boredom. Malts, bread, and some light sweet fruit notes. I’m drinking this a bit colder than I would like, but that doesn’t excuse the complete lack of anything interesting going on. Not bad but i’ll retain no memories of this one. mgermani (865), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 20, 2007 Pours a clear amber-brown with a fantastic head and thick, lasting lacing. Aroma is vaguely malty. Tastes chalky & dry, stale malt but nicely balanced hopping. Body is good and carb is decent, wonderful creamy mouthfeel. Don’t get me wrong, this beer is very drinkable, but they need to get rid of that lagery corn taste. Very tell-tale macro. Kudos on decent hopping, though. Jayb0 (752), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 3, 2007 Bottle. Good looking but in the end only average for me. I couldn’t find anything to grab on to, everything was somewhat middling or muted. May come through better on cask if it softened up a bit, or perhaps if it had a chance to warm up slightly. I may give it a second chance. Firemoose15 (542), Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 20, 2007 Bottle. Aroma a little bit of buttery toffee, roast malts. Poured a murky brown. Flavor breadish toast malts, raisin like fruitiness, hops are there but not overpoweringly bitter. Palate is medium, quite easy drinking. Overall, I’d drink it again.
