Murky amber color with a white head that quickly filmed. A bit thin bodied. Mild carbonation. Caramel malt, with a little smoke, a little stone fruit, and arguably a bit of citrus. The finish is reasonably dry, and there’s not a great deal of bitter. Refreshingly unsticky, compared to a number of Scottish examples. I like it. One wouldn’t need to see the label to know it is from Great Britain. Drinkable and worth trying. There are much better beers for the price however. Thylacine (267), Tasmania, Australia
