Apr 22, 2007 A nice ESB. Pour was a dark gold with a one finger off white head. Aroma of grassy hops. Taste was grass and hops with a malt backbone to balance it out. Good carbonation and a solid taste balance this out nicely.

Apr 3, 2007 Bottle. Pours a cloudy bubbly orange-amber with an average size lasting foamy off-white head. Sweet sugary aroma of toasted caramel malt, grain and some fruit. Flavour, also sweet, of caramel malt and light hops -- not much going on here, blah. Average bodied. Didn’t much care for this, very boring and bland.

Apr 1, 2007 A touch of dark malt adds complexity to this copper colored ale. Carbonation on the high side is a bit distracting from the good, malty body. Slightly sweet as a good scottish ale should be. low and delicate hoppiness.

Mar 20, 2007 Pint glass. Deep amber with thick head. Aroma is caramel and butterscotch with some mild fruit and peat moss. Malty and a little sour. The hops are barely apparent upon tasting. Medium body, somewaht creamy.
