| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 12, 2006 Bottle. Pours light amber with a pillowy fluffy head. Aroma is basically dead with a hint of hops and malt. The taste at first seems like a typical ale with a light malty edge. But the taste is an odd balance of light hops with a malty texture. Its a decent brew, not as good as many other but worth trying. thebeertourist (2822), Oslo, Norway

Bright, burnished gold, with a short fizzy white head. Typical Belhaven nose - caramel, prunes and a whiff of sulphur. Pretty prickly in the mouth, from carbonation and a touch of hops, with a dry malt spine and a touch of roast in the finish. A little dried fruit on the palate. Clean and refreshing but nothing to rush back for. IrishBoy (2722), Bakersfield, California, USA
