Bottle from Tesco, Fort William. Pasteurised. Aroma of malt, smoke, peat, caramel. I expected a fuller body from memory. Smoky aftertaste. Good stuff.

This has quite a bready, stable kind of aroma that im not fond of at all. Taste is similar though a bit watery and thin, lacking something. I dont really remember drinking this which is a bit annoying aswell.

Red-brown orange, thin white head. Malty aroma with notes of licorice, dough, hops and fresh barley. Smoky flavor with some maltsweetness.

Amber color with a nice beige head. Smell some big time toffee, bit of orange, and honey. I get honey in the taste as well, also some apple. Nice creamy mouthfeel and some cool lacing. Nice beer, could see myself having quite a few of these.

Dead simple beer but very likeable. Tan in colour with toffee overtones. Soft malty nose. Very similar in the palate, smooth malts, very smooth and mediumed bodied. Not really hoppy or bitter. Doesn’t have any head turning characters but just a nice slurpable drop.

Poured a reddish-amber with a 1/2" white head.. decent retention & lacing. Aroma consists of darker fruits such as plums prunes, and some apples. Smooth mouthfeel, and flavors followed the aroma. Medium malt backbone. Pretty good stuff.

Pours dark copper/ruby with medium light tan head. Aroma of caramel malt, some almonds and toffee. Tastes caramel malty, with almonds, toffee, some cabernet and rauchy finishing notes. Solid complexity.
