Pours a nutty brown color, with a pillowy tan head on top. Aroma is different- earthy, sweet, almost some berries in there as well. Flavor is woody and sweet, perhaps even a little smoky. In fact, this beer has a faint cigar-like flavor to it. Very unique, though I’m not sure if I would drink one again.

Has a distinct aroma and a bit of a different flavor - but a good one. Great amber color, too. Thumbs up.

Thin, dense head. Golden color. Aroma is of sweet green apples. Medium bodied, slightly creamy. Taste is dark and developed, a little earthy with some molassis and a little roastiness coming towards the finish. Hints of alcohol. I can only imagine what this would taste like off a cask in true U.K. style.

(500 ml bottle, now available in Norway). Colour is yellowish brown, good head. Aroma has first some fruity hops, then dusty malts. Flavour is malty with hints of caramel and dust. Too much carbonation for my taste. OKish, but not remarkable.

Draft at the WinkingJudge; copper-orange colour with a thin head. A definite malt aroma. Taste was sweetish with a graininess in the swallow.
