This has a nutty maltiness in the aroma, with earthy and lightly citrussy hops and hints of a ripe fruit character. Pours reddish brown with an off-white head that leaves a small rim. The flavour is overall a bit disappointing, caramel and small amounts of chocolate, with a herbal hoppiness and a medium bitter finish. Passable.

I had to drink this as I was watching golf. A brown beer with a decent head. The aroma is sweet. The taste was sweet, nutty, malty smooth, with just a touch of hops at the end. Really basic for me.

Sample at Voldby Ølmesse. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, malt and hops. Nice bitter finish.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear orange/amber with a smaller bubbly off white head that quickly fades. Initial aroma is very nutty and malty which gives way to a more dusty cereal grain and a slight touch of honey sweetness. Body is very lively with lots of carbonatin and a slight touch of dryness on the finish. Flavor starts off slightly sweet, raisin mostly, and finshes with lots of dry toast notes. Drinkable but the body and even the flavor are a bit thick for a 4.6% ABV.

A normal Scottish ale, with a nice amber colour and decent head, and a pleasing aroma. Taste was alright, but I found it to be a light version of Belhaven’s Wee Heavy and I like that one much better than this one.

Bottle; poured a dirty amber color with a very small head. Aroma of toasted malt, bread, and fruit; a bit of caramel and earthiness as well. Flavor was very full and well above average for the style. Pronounced caramel and toasted malt backboe with a bit of fruit and some earthiness in the finish. Easy to drink alot of. Nice sessionable.
