palate is smooth, but also a little watery.

May 18, 2009 Bottle, 50cl - Bronze-copper colored beer with a large frothy orange head. Aroma is malty with hints of caramel, butterscotch and oranges. Flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and oranges. Medium bodied ending with a mellow bitterness. Pretty good!

Fruity flavour of caramel, grass, butter and hops with notes of raisin.
Nice hoppyness, but many off-notes.

Apr 28, 2009 Bottle. Pours with a creamy, off-white head over a filtered brown body. Aroma of caramel, grain, graham cracker, leather and a bit of biscuit. Taste is caramel, raisins, cracker, and toffee. Tons of malt. Creamy mouthfeel, light bubbles.

Apr 12, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear orange copper with a small frothy off white head. The aroma is a corn malt with sweet fruit. Good sticky lacing on the glass. The taste is a fruity malt with a lot of caramel in the finish. Very rich and full on the mouth and easy to drink. A good ESB from Belhaven.
