Belhaven St Andrews Ale (Cask)

Cask in Edinburgh. Golden with a creamy head, fine lacings. Aroma moderate malty (caramel, chocolate, fruits) and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter. Light body. Very fine.

Cask at World’s End, Edinburgh. Medium amber pour, fruity malty aroma, doughy, sweet almost berry like. creamy body. decent

Cask Handpump at the Three Judges, Partick 01/12/2007 Sour fruit aroma. Amber coloured with a sour fruit flavour. Some acidic taste in a crisp and dry finish.

Cask - - Gallows Bird, Espoo
Rich hazy orange. Sweet toffee malt aroma. Watery and sweet, a bit grainy, and with artificial sweetener. Want to scrape my tongue to get it off afterwards. A bit old perhaps? The aroma and taste are both certainly a bit stodgy. It does improve as you get desensitised to the less pleasant parts.

Half pint cask at Cumberland Bar, Edinburgh. Deep, dark amber body with a low level head. Plain, but weak malty aroma. Chocolate malts in flavour offset by fast fading bitterness. Smooth in the mouth. Not quite in perfect shape? [24.10.2008].

The Old Oak, Loch Lomond, Scotland. Cask, 250708. Amber with off-white head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Flavor is of crystal malt and a medium bitterness.

Clear medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, old malt, damp-stained. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (180508)

cask at gandolfi bar- just because i wanted to try it a little, after tasting so many great beers at blackfriars this was just the worst. pours golden amber with awhite head, nose is slight lemon bread, taste is lemon and bread not to hot sweet adjuncty tasting messa malt.
