Cask @ Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a clear amber colour with a small off-white head. Fruity malty aroma, with some hints of hops and apple. Sweet fruity malty flavor, hints of apple. Dry malty finish with a bitter aftertaste.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. A murky chestnut brown coloured beer with an off-white head and lacing. The aroma is malty with caramel and nut aromas. The taste is biscuity and malty. There is a little coffee flavour. Very Scottish with hops barely showing.

Gravity cask @ Reading Beer Festival 2006. Caramel, bready malts. Light dusty hop finish. Quite nice.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 06. Orange /chestnut colour. Fruity, but lacks the fullness of malt in mouth it deserves. Easy drinking though. Some burnt choc/coffee.

Sampled cask conditioned. Dark brown. Fruity and salty with a big maltiness. Feels really Scottish.
